SeaWorld announces management shake-up

SeaWorld has announced a number of changes to its management, including the replacement of two top executives.

For the past few years the marine park operator has been struggling to cope with the backlash caused by the success of the documentary film, Blackfish, released in 2013.

Falling revenues and attendances, along with changing attitudes regarding the keeping of whales and dolphin in captive facilities, have forced the company to undertake a review of its operations.

The two executives being replaced are its chief parks operations officer and chief zoological officer.
