WDC Wild Dolphin sculptures to be auctioned in big FINale

The many fans of Aberdeen’s popular Wild Dolphins art trail can bid to keep one of the popular dolphin sculptures as the summer public trail organised by WDC and partner charity, the ARCHIE Foundation comes to an end. All 50 of the colourful dolphin models, which have been dotted around the city, are being auctioned to raise money for WDC and ARCHIE (the official charity of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital) at Aberdeen’s Music Hall on Wednesday, September 10, from 7pm. The auction will be open to the public and tickets for the event are now on sale

The project has been hailed a spectacular success, with more than 10,000 people downloading a smartphone app to help them find all 50 of the dolphin sculptures, and thousands of others touring the city with maps.
