Beach Boys cancel concert in support of campaign against whales in captivity

The Beach Boys and Pat Benatar have canceled their scheduled appearances at Busch Gardens, a venue operated by SeaWorld, becoming the latest in a long line of music acts to distance themselves from the captive whale and dolphin shows at SeaWorld facilities.

The artists were scheduled to perform in a few weeks, but the backlash over the film “Blackfish”, which highlights the cruelty behind SeaWorld’s captive orca shows, has caused them to reconsider.
