Can you imagine the incredible sight of thousands upon thousands of dolphins surrounding your boat as they swim together in the ocean?

Well that’s just the treat a group of lucky tourists got when a ‘super-pod’ of common dolphins was spotted as they enjoyed a day trip on the water off the coast of California.
Common dolphins are very social and are often found in relatively large groups, but one of more than a few hundred is rare. Perhaps a once in a lifetime sight for some very lucky people!

The dolphins may have all come together to enjoy feasting on some of their favourite fish.
