Blackfish, a documentary that exposes the controversial and cruel world of captivity will air on the 19th January at the esteemed 35th annual Sundance Film Festival in the US. The film looks into the shocking death of Sea World trainer, Dawn Brancheau’s who was killed in 2010 when orca Tillikum dragged her under the water in front of horrified spectators at Sea World in Orlando, Florida.
 
Alongside the stories of individuals involved, the film also looks many other similar incidents and raises safety questions about the wider captivity industry as a whole.
