Foggy Doggies & Humpback Whales…
Hi Everyone,
It was VERY foggy at Chanonry Point today which was a bit of a nuisance as I was there early to watch for two lovely Humpback whales that I saw through my binoculars yesterday afternoon. Some people came down walking their two dogs and through the fog, which thickened up and then thinned out a bit, you can just see the tidal current which is about ten feet from the beach.
I stayed for about four hours in the cold, damp conditions. Susan phoned me to say that the fog had lifted a little in Kessock and that she could see Kesslet & Charlie. It was a bit frustrating as I have some new camera equipment and was looking to try my new big camera on dolphins for the first time. Maybe tomorrow, if the fog lifts.
Best Wishes,
Charlie.
