Database developer officer

Whale and Dolphin Conservation is looking for a Database developer officer to join our database team in our UK head office in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Are you a data expert confident in using T-SQL?

Working closely with the Database manager, you will support a number of teams within the organisation to help deliver the best possible information to help us deliver our strategic goals.

The successful candidate will help to develop and maintain our databases and ensure data quality, provide datasets to business users, train and support business users, help develop our business intelligence and reporting function, support database projects and delivery, and provide day-to-day database administration.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and will be skilled in programming languages, a proficient SQL developer (SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2016), competent at developing ETL processes within SSIS, report writing using SSRS, data management, analysis and modelling experience, developing data warehouses and fundraising databases and documentation of data processes. Good interpersonal skills are required for internal and external engagement on behalf of the database team.

Salary is the region of £25,500.
